The last Banff Landscape Photography Summit was on Jan. 8-10, 2016 and it was a great success.  Follow the link in the previous sentence to the Summit website to see just how awesome the Summit really was.  We had some of the biggest names in Canadian landscape photography in attendance.  There were guest speakers presenting from across the country on a wide variety of nature photography topics.  We also had representatives from major trade organizations present to show us the latest and greatest equipment out there.  We learned a lot of lessons from last year’s Summit and that wisdom is going to help make the next Summit even better.

We’re working on the details for the second annual Landscape Photography Summit which is going to be held on the weekend of Jan. 13-15, 2017.  Mark the dates off on your calendar and stay tuned to the ILPA newsletter and the Summit facebook page to hear when the tickets will go on sale.  last year the first batch of early bird tickets sold out in 24 hours.

…then, the rest of the tickets sold out in less than a week.  It’s no wonder either.  We had an amazing weekend planned for everyone including a day tour of Banff National Park, which we’re going to do again.  Everyone wrote in the post Summit review questionnaire that really enjoyed the Summit.  We also received some great constructive feedback for next year’s conference too.  Thank you so much for all of that.  We’re working hard to improve it for next year and I sincerely appreciated your honest feedback you gave us in the exit survey that was emailed to you after the event!  I believe we’re going to be able top last year too!

If you’ve already joined ILPA then you’ll receive ~$80 off of the cost your 2017 Summit registration.  Simply contact me after you register via the contact form on this website and I’ll refund you 20% of the registration fee.  This benefit alone almost pays for the entire cost of your ILPA personal photographer membership.  If you want to come to the Summit then joining ILPA just makes sense.  Members of ILPA will also be notified first when registration opens as well so they may get a head start on registering.  This is a pretty good benefit considering all of the tickets to the Summit sold out in less than a week last year.

If you haven’t already joined ILPA, then joining may be something you’ll want to consider to save yourself a bit of money, if for no other reason than that.

See you in Banff on January 13-15, 2017 at the

second International Landscape Photography Summit.
