1/ Your new subscription to Outdoor Photography Canada Magazine
Do you have already have a subscription to Outdoor Photography Canada magazine? If you don’t then let’s start Outdoor Photography Magazine subscription now. If you do, then you can gift the subscription included in your membership to a friend. Simply let me know if you want me to start the subscription in your name and send it to your address, or someone else’s name and address.
If you’re going to gift this subscription to someone else, then please send me their name, email and mailing address and they’ll start to receive their OPC magazine subscription. If I don’t hear from you about this then I’ll simply start your own membership using the mailing address you provided when you purchased your ILPA membership on Paypal in the subscription address fields.
2/ Your ILPA webpage
Let’s get rolling on building your ILPA website. I need the following content from you to build your ILPA:
1/ Your top 5 photographs you would like see featured on your ILPA webpage.
2/ 500+ words of text that you would like me to use to build your ILPA webpage. It’s important to get over 500+ words of text so google will start to rank your website in their search database (ie: Google will assign a pagerank to your website. If you don’t know what a google pagerank then don’t worry about it. Then people can finding your ILPA website, and you! File formats accepted for text include .txt or .doc files.
3/ One custom outward bound link you would like me to use on your ILPA webpage linking to a website of your choice. This is in addition to the Social profile links mentioned in #4.

Maybe use the outward bound link in #3 to point back to your own website if you have one, or your facebook page. This way we can increase traffic to your website to share your own photography. The only thing I ask (and this is optional) is for you to add a backlink on your own website back to your ILPA webpage that I built for you on the ILPA website please! Your website page rank (and ILPA’s) is calculated in part by google looking at the relationship between websites through these backlinks. If you place a link on to your website back to your ILPA webpage, and I do the same for you to your webpage on the ILPA website, then both websites will rank higher in google. Google likes mutual backlinks between websites when calculating the pagerank for each site. If you don’t have a website or a facebook page, then just tell me what appropriate website you would like me to point the included backlink too on your ILPA webpage that I’ll build for you. Maybe you could point to your Facebook profile? Reasonable restrictions on the appropriateness of your requested backlink will apply. We want to keep the ILPA website looking professional so we can’t link to “The Shopping Channel” or something like that.
3/ You don’t have a website already? Then upgrade your ILPA webpage presence to become a “website” within the ILPA website:
Do you want a larger website? We can do that:
We can build a comprehensive and cohesive set of your own webpages to make your profile simulate a website for you. We can:
1/ increase the number of photographs in your gallery to 20 photographs on your own gallery page.
2/ add more pages to your website.
3/ add an “about *your name here*” page describing who you are and what you do.
4/ Add an expanded photo gallery page to highlight your work in a professional gallery featuring 10 or 20 photographs. You can even offer your photographs for sale from you upgraded gallery page.
In short, we can build you “your own website within ILPA. This is a good idea if you don’t already have a website and you want a larger web presence. This expanded webpage service carries an additional annual charge just like if you had your own website hosted at a web design/hosting company, but it’s reasonable priced. I should caution you that the webpage and “website within the ILPA website” has a basic design layout. Just let me know if this interests you and we can talk more about it and I can give you a quote based on what you want.
4/ Let’s get Social! Join and join these FB groups, like the pages and get the newsletter:

– “Like” the ILPA FB page

Be sure to like the ILPA facebook page if you haven’t done so already. Also, join as many of the free Canadian landscape and wildlife FB groups as you’d like to network with other like minded photographers in the area of Canada you live, or where you would like to visit.

Most of the day to day ILPA group social communications will be done via the International Landscape Photographer’s FB page. Other important ILPA notifications, like when the quarterly newsletter is posted to the website, or a reminder to renew your membership, will be emailed to you using the email address you provided when registering.

If I post your good question publicly, then I will keep your identify in the Q&A post private by using language like “I got a great question from K. today. He asked…”
Do you really want your presence on the ILPA website to Stand Out?!!
Do you want your webpage to really POP and stand out from the rest? Additional webpage services are also available to do that. For instance, let me know if you would like to add anything more like more photographs to your ILPA webpage to expand and improve it. I can increase the text on your webpage if you want to say more and/or I can add more photographs to your ILPA page. We can also add more outward bound links too. I can even add multiple pages so you can have a personal website within the ILPA website if you don’t want to build your own external website (see point #3 above). Email me with your ideas and the details of what you want to add to your webpage, and I can quote you a price for that. There may be a reasonable charge for addition page layout, setup, content and maybe additional annual webpage(s) hosting fees if you want to go really big! If you want to go really big with your ILPA web presence we may have to discuss an extra change. The annual rates for your website within the ILPA website are modest depending on what you want to do.
